1. Protecting Our Homeowners and Seniors

• Automatic STAR/SCHE Tax Reductions: "I will fight to make home tax reductions automatic at age 65. Our seniors shouldn't have to navigate a mountain of paperwork just to afford to stay in the homes they spent a lifetime building."

• Cracking Down on "Modern Loan Sharking": "I will advocate for a strict cap on interest rates. 30% interest isn't 'business'—it's loan sharking, and it is draining the wealth of our neighborhood."

2. Rebuilding the Local Economy

• Commercial Rent Stabilization: "I support reinstating universal rent-stabilization for commercial tenants. If our local shops can’t afford to stay, our neighborhood loses its soul."

• Slashing Fines and Opening Credit: "I want to cut the predatory fines that stifle small businesses and create better access to lines of credit so our local entrepreneurs can actually grow."

• Empowering Local Groups: "I will encourage and assist more local groups in District 38 to form 501(c)(3) organizations, allowing them to capture the grants and resources they deserve."

3. Ending the "Hidden Fees" Tax

• Utility Bill Transparency: "I’m going after the extraneous charges and fees buried in our telephone, cable, and utility bills. It’s time to stop the 'nickel and diming' of Queens families."

• The War on Junk Fees: "Bank fees and ATM fees are a tax on being working-class. I’m coming after these predatory practices to keep more money in your pocket."

• A Cleaner District: "I will fight to fully fund the Department of Sanitation. Clean streets aren't a luxury; they are the foundation of a healthy, vibrant city."
